Dear Wihan Friends
We hope that you are staying well and healthy during these challenging times.
 
During the long lock-down period in the Czech Republic  the Wihan Quartet were missing rehearsing and performing together, but fortunately they  found a way to keep in contact and we hope you enjoy the very special quarantine edition of Mendelssohn's Octet.....

The Czech Republic is now starting to come out of lock-down and Leos (1st violin) and Michal (cello) will be performing Martinu's Duo for Violin and Cello tomorrow evening as part of a series of live streamed concerts organised by the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation to support Médecins Sans Frontières.  Further details below.

The Bohuslav Martinů Foundation are broadcasting online a series of chamber concerts from its headquarters in Prague. The Music Without Borders project will offer virtual concerts during which prominent Czech artists will perform in order to support the Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF)​.
